Clinical Training: A 6-month clinical training course (MEDT 591) that focuses on the MLS-level skills are offered to our graduates. Training is conducted at affiliate laboratories/hospitals where students get hands-on experience in all major medical laboratory science departments. After successful completion of this training, students are eligible to take the MLS national certification exam from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
