UHM Medical Technology Student Receives ASCLS-HI Scholarship

In November 2021, Kasandrae Natividad received the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) Hawaii Chapter student scholarship. This $2,500 award recognizes students who demonstrate academic, professional, and potential contribution to the medical laboratory community. Kasandrae, a recent graduate from the Kapiolani Community College (KCC) Medical Laboratory Technician program is a current junior in the Medical Technology program. Marcella Yee, ASCLS-HI President (2021) was presented the scholarship to Kasandrae.
